Cement Tile Craftsmanship: Masterful Artistry and Time-Honored Technique

Each unique cement tile design begins with the creation of a metal stencil, precisely fitted into a special frame. A vibrantly colored paste of sand, marble dust, cement, and a spectrum of pigments is then poured into the intricate areas of the template. Once the template is removed, the vibrant pattern, which was initially dusted with dry cement and then carefully moistened, is revealed.
A durable lid is placed over the tile, preparing it for the next crucial step. During the pressing process, the tile is subjected to immense hydraulic pressure, a technique that has earned these tiles the name “Baldosas Hidráulicas” in Spain.
Once the pressing process is complete, the frame is removed, and the finished tile is left to dry and harden, resulting in a masterpiece of unparalleled craftsmanship. Each tile is a unique and distinctive creation, incomparable to mass-produced alternatives.
